Triple J Farm has a long and rich history that dates back to the early 1900s, when my great grandfather started growing tobacco on this land. Tobacco was a major crop in North Carolina for many decades, and our family was proud to be part of that tradition.

However, times change and so do farming practices. In the late 1990s, we decided to switch from tobacco to beef cattle, specifically Hereford cattle. Herefords are known for their hardiness, docility and quality meat. We love raising these beautiful animals and caring for them with respect and compassion.

Our farm is more than just a business; it's our home and our passion. We enjoy working together as a family and sharing our farm with others who appreciate the natural beauty and bounty of this land. 

Hereford cattle are known for their distinctive red-and-white coat color, their docile temperament, and their ability to thrive in different climates and environments . They are also excellent foragers and converters of grass into meat. We are proud members of the American Hereford Association (AHA), which is an organization that promotes the improvement of Hereford genetics and performance.

We breed registered certified Hereford cattle, which means that our animals have been verified by the AHA as purebred Herefords with traceable pedigrees. We also participate in various programs offered by the AHA, such as performance testing, genetic evaluation, and quality assurance. Our goal is to produce healthy and productive cattle that meet the demands of today's consumers.
